Medical Terminology Course Details
Our courses are designed to provide the key to unlock the logic behind medical terms, and their implications. Delegates won't be turned into medical professionals overnight, but will be armed with sufficient knowledge to better understand their clients medical reports, and the occasional medical professional! All courses are highly interactive. This enables delegates to hear and use medical phrases in working situations. Moreover, using a little fun and creativity, it enables delegates, with little medical experience, to identify and define key parts of medical terms. Delegates are given the training to dissect new and unfamiliar terms, in order to develop their understanding, and broad appreciation of associated medical matters to look out for. As a business, we provide specialist in house training, which creates a confidential atmosphere, allowing delegates the freedom to discuss problems of a sensitive or commercial nature, that they may not feel comfortable raising outside the confines of the business. Clients are invited to select the content for their own one day bespoke interactive workshop. Course Objectives The course will allow delegates to:
Recognise medical abbreviations. Module Structure Each module is focussed on a specific body system or medical specialisation. Medical terms and abbreviations are then explained within the context of such areas as: How the terms and abbreviations appear in relation to medical reports. Medical conditions commonly referred to within your business (to be discussed with the trainer beforehand).
